Spring Blossoms and April Showers
Enjoying the sun and rain alike.
Hello friends !
Spring is here and everything is blooming nicely — and so are my sketchbooks!
As I mentioned in the last edition, I have quite a bit of backup to go through. This month, I finished a couple of sketchbooks, and started some fresh ones. I’m also slowly getting back into painting (a hurdle I’ve been trying to get past for some time now) and playing with some new tools.
While everything is slowly coming together, let’s have a look at the first chunk of this sketchbook, that I bought and started during my trip to France this past winter.
Normandy and sketching from life
My partner and I visited Normandy in December, and we took a lot of pictures. We also sketched a lot after long days or walking around and getting inspired.

I kept the momentum going after we got back, so here’s more little daily sketches!

Products and Portfolio
In true spring fashion, I have been renewing my digital presence and building up a little inventory.
Website
I’ve been switching up my old linktree for a brand new (and, I think, very pretty) Carrd website :
I love the flexibility and affordability of Carrd — thanks to the support I’ve received, I was able to upgrade to their pro features, which allow me to build a couple additional websites. The second one I’m working on, is a condensed portfolio with some recent works. Here’s a sneak peek :

There’s still some work to do but I’m fairly happy at the minimalism of it :)
Products
I’ve received a second batch of stickers!

They are all available for purchase on my Ko-fi shop, and as a thanks for your support, here’s a 20% discount on all of the stickers. Click on the following link to use it, or use the code LAUNCH to redeem the offer.
What else ?
I still have some products on Redbubble if that’s more your jam, but not all are present there!
I’m waiting to receive some first prints of my art to add to my shop, stay tuned for next month’s update.
I had the opportunity to try pottery for the first time and it was amazing!
What’s next ?
I’m about to travel to Quebec in May, and I’m excited to see my family, sketch and get inspired! The next newsletter will probably be in June because of this trip.
I’m designing a bookmark as the next printed product to share around !
Inspirations
I’ve been loving the art of SmallWhiteMonster and dream of one day having a piece of theirs on my walls. ‘I Have Outgrown This Place’ is one of my favourites.
I re-read one of my favourite childhood comics, called Lou! It was a delight and very refreshing to return to something I hadn’t read in a long time.
Thanks for reading this edition! We missed April by a few days but I’m happy to be sharing my art again, and even happier that there’s so much yet to show! Feel free to reply to say hi or share with your friends, and don’t forget to go for a walk today.
See you next month,
Chloé
